Mothers- Travel tips & looks are here for you!

When you travel with a little one, all you want is comfort clothing coz that’s what is required at the end of the travel tunnel. From breastfeeds to changing diapers to rushing to loos for poop alarms!…All this and more to manage for any parent is a task!

The task gets ambitious when the case is of a fashionista mom without any help around. And this where am stepping in to give some useful tips to the new mom’s. My lo is 4+ now so I feel quite experienced.

We have travelled by air, road and trains with some small time travel on boats too!

– The first tip will be to wear something light and wear in layers. So in case it’s cold you can be comfortable. With layers on its easier to feed babies. And also you can clean your hands every time you or the baby spills something…I understand that even if we carry wet tissues, towels, ets it’s not practically possible each time with a little one to even open your bag for yourself.

– Second tip: wear easy slip on shoes. Go for flats or wedges. Keep heels for later. Since leg space is not great all the time in flights, even in cars you want to sit easy, in trains again you can’t be sitting always…so easier to just slip out and in your shoes each time and quickly. You don’t want to waste time in tying your shoe laces…so be mindful

– Third tip would be that whatever pants you choose to wear, make sure it’s not tedious to close the zip or that buckle. If wearing Indian salwar kameez, better to opt for salwar with elastic I/o drawstrings. Saves time and is convenient if Baby is with you in washroom while you are peeing or whatever!!
